Shinkirou.net V9 features the ever-fabulous and picture-perfect Joseph Joestar from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency who knows what you're about to say next, and what's in your back pocket. To be 100% honest this redesign was totally spur of the moment, though now that I've done it I'm not entirely sure why I never thought to use JoJo before. I think this is probably a little bit out there in terms what people might expect to see on here, but then again most of my domain is kind of that way anyway so it seems fitting. I had a lot of fun with this layout though knowing it'd be kind of humorous/quirky to put an oversized muscle-man on my domain header instead of some big-eyed bishounen. Though don't get me wrong... in my eyes JoJo is actually a ~*~*total bishie omg*~*~.

         

The page titles are all songs from bands/musicians which JoJo character names are references to (AC/DC, Santana, Beck, REO Speedwagon). I wasn't entirely sure this layout was going to work out because Araki's artwork is so amazingly fabulous and over the top, and my design is normally pretty minimal. On top of that, I didn't think I could live up to JoJo's Adonis-good looks and Hellenistic sculpture of a body, but somehow I think the extremity of Araki's work and my tendency to pull back a little ended up matching up in the end. Only JoJo could make pink look so manly. This or I'm delusional and actually this layout is actually waving an enormous homosexual flag back and forth. Either way, I'm going to embrace it's bold manliness ~with a feminine side~ and keep it around for awhile.
