すべて蜃気楼に消えた。

Shinkirou.net has been around since June 17, 2007 and was purchased through good ol' Lunarpages. Since then it's pretty much been the dumping ground for random projects, shrines, fanlistings or retarded websites that I spontaneously sign myself up for. Years prior to owning my own domain I'd pretty much been shacking up at the homes of many different friends and hosts, so I guess you can say I finally stopped depending on them and decided to move out and open up my own place on the web! (To all of those people who put up with my endless endeavors throughout the years--thank you so much!) The domain's been around for quite awhile, but only recently does it feel like I've settled in, so I'm happy to finally have some projects to maintain and work on.

The name shinkirou is Japanese for the word mirage, inspired by a song from my favorite musical artist: Nakajima Takui's Shinkirou. To be quite honest, there's no deeper meaning for my choosing it other than I really just love the song and Takui's upbeat music and amazing lyrics are really inspiring: you can read a translation of Shinkirou here or listen to the song itself via Youtube.
